We are thrilled to have Alexei Ramos.

Alexei, originally from Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, began his dance journey 25 years ago. With a strong foundation in contemporary dance, he later founded his own company, Calabar, in São Paulo, Brazil. Throughout his career, Alexei has had many notable experiences, including serving as the lead dancer for Maykel Fonts Company in Milan in 2010. He also co-organized the Viva Cuba Festival in São Paulo, an initiative that showcased his dedication to both Cuban culture and high-quality event production.

Alexei’s expertise in Cuban dance has made him a sought-after teacher, and he has been sharing his passion for Cuban rhythms since 2012, working alongside Emilia Pedra. Together, they have created a unique dance approach that emphasizes understanding the cultural roots of the music and delivering high-quality instruction.
