Based in Augsburg, Sofia runs her own dance school and is a celebrated international artist. She travels the world to teach and perform, sharing her passion and expertise with dancers everywhere. Sofia’s love for Cuban Salsa began at first sight, and since then, she hasn’t been able to stop dancing. While living in Barcelona, she studied intensively under the guidance of renowned teachers such as Jorge Camagüey, diving deep into Afro-Cuban dances, with a particular focus on Rumba Cubana.

In 2013, she joined Emilito Herrera’s Cuban Salsa Power dance school as a student, and later as an instructor. With the Cuban Salsa Power group, Sofia won the German Rueda Championship in 2013, and several other accolades in the years that followed (up until 2018).

Sofia has shared the stage with legendary bands like Havana D’ Primera and has performed at festivals alongside artists such as Jorge Camagüey, Osmani Segura, and Fredyclan.
