Born in Havana and a graduate of the elite National School of Art (ENA) and ISA, Karolyn Alomá is the definition of a complete artist. Her journey has taken her from being a soloist in Ballet Revolution and Rosario Cárdenas in Cuba to the biggest stages in the world.

You might recognize her as a lead performer in Hamburg’s most iconic musicals! The Lion King (Cheetah / Nala’s Mom) and Disney’s Hercules (Medusa / Ensemble)

Beyond the theater, Karolyn has choreographed for major TV shows like “Dancing in Cuba” and “Giant Band,” appeared in the US series “House of Lies,” and even starred in Alvaro Soler’s “Mi Cintura” music video!

As the Founder and Artistic Director of Soul in Motion, she brings a unique blend of contemporary, folk, and pure Cuban fire. We are incredibly lucky to have her sharing her world-class expertise with us in Hamburg!
