Fredy Clan

Unidanza The Afro-Cuban Dance Festival in Hamburg

We are incredibly excited to welcome Fredy “FClan” back to UNiDANZA 2026!

Originally from Cuba and now based in Hamburg, Fredy is a true multi-talent! As a dancer, teacher, and performer, he travels the world, bringing his passion for Afro-Cuban rhythms to the stage and regularly performing with various bands. His energy and artistry make him a standout figure in the global dance scene.

Fredy was part of the very first UNiDANZA edition—and we are thrilled to have this foundational energy back with us in 2026! His dance journey began at the Escuela Vocacional de Arte and was continued at the renowned Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havanna, where he graduated top of his class. Afterwards his career as a dancer and choreographer led him on tours around the globe, alongside legendary Cuban artists such as Compay Segundo, Los Van Van, Sinteci and Carlos Manuel y su Clan – which gave him his nickname “FClan”.

Fredy’s international career includes performing with the famous Lady Salsa show, which brought him to Hamburg, where he now calls home. Despite his extensive touring schedule and successful music career, Fredy remains a core member of the teaching team at A Bailar, where he continues to share his vast knowledge of Afro-Cuban dance with students from around the world.

Anyone who knows Fredy knows: his energy and passion are simply contagious and we can’t wait to see him in UNiDANZA 2026!
