Born in Havana, Michel Ramirez carries the authentic spirit of Cuba in every step.
Michel’s foundation is as solid as it gets. He was a member of the legendary group “Raíces Profundas,” one of the most respected folkloric ensembles in Cuba. He earned his professional diploma in Folklore and Traditional Dance at “Adolfo Guzmán” before taking his talents to the modern stage.

His professional journey includes: 3 years with the famous David Blanco, performing and choreographing at the iconic “La Macumba Habana” and working with stars like Isis Flores

Since 2007, Michel has been a cornerstone of the Hamburg dance scene at El Chevere, sharing his passion for Salsa, Reggaeton, and Afro-Cuban dance. We are honored to have his expertise, his history, and his incredible energy at the festival!
