Luis, originally from Portugal, discovered Cuban dances at the age of 17. His passion for dance quickly transformed him from a talented student into an exceptional instructor and choreographer. Along the way, he explored various dance styles such as ballet, capoeira, and breakdance, all of which have shaped his unique, personal style today.

In recent years, Luis’ career has skyrocketed, taking him across Europe to numerous festivals where he shares his knowledge and passion for Cuban dance. When he’s not traveling, he is based in Hamburg, Germany, where he runs his own dance school, A bailar, dedicated to spreading the beauty of Cuban dance, music, and culture.
