Yansser Cardoso has had an extraordinary musical journey. Born in Cuba in 1980, he began his education at the prestigious “Jose White” Conservatory in Camaguey, where he earned his degree as an instrumental musician specializing in percussion and ensemble practice. His career as a percussionist took off when he joined the Symphony Orchestra of Camaguey, where he collaborated with renowned conductors and composers like Luis Aguirre Rouvira and David Paul Graham.

In 2002, he founded the group “Ashe de Cuba”, which became internationally recognized for its performances in Cuba and Europe. Over the years, Yansser has had the privilege of performing with iconic artists such as Boney M, Aventura, the Buena Vista Social Club, and many others. His musical style has enriched countless performances, and he has worked with renowned Latin Jazz groups like Cubacata, Rumbata, and Ballet Folklorico of Camaguey.

Yansser’s expertise is further recognized through his teaching career. In 2009, he founded his own percussion school in Duisburg, where he shares his passion and knowledge with students of all ages, alongside his international performances.
